A few things stood out from the conversation:
Energy is no longer a cost-centre topic. It sits at the core of investment thesis and competitive advantage — and the boards that haven’t made that transition yet are carrying a risk that isn’t fully priced in their valuations, but will be.
Companies that can’t measure, report, and manage their energy consumption are already losing access to international capital and supply chains. This is today’s reality, not a future risk.
And the window to act is narrowing. The scaling gap — the lack of structured growth capital for this transition — is the real bottleneck. Not the technology. Not the will.
