COP31 Towards Solutions: Climate Vision and the Future of Transformation

Istanbul, Türkiye | May 13, 2026

As Platin Yaka, we hosted “COP31 Towards Solutions: Climate Vision and the Future of Transformation” — a conference designed not to talk about climate, but to act on it.

Here is what we walked away with:

  • For the private sector: Sustainability is no longer a communications issue — it is a business model issue. The transformation needs to move from strategy documents into investment decisions, supply chain criteria, and board agendas. For sectors under CBAM pressure, managing this proactively is no longer optional. It is a competitive necessity.
  • For regulation: Predictable, consistent, and capacity-building regulatory frameworks are what unlock private sector transformation. Uncertainty slows investment. Clarity attracts capital.
  • For the public sector: COP31 host country status is not a showcase — it is a commitment. That commitment must be backed by concrete policy steps: budget priorities, infrastructure planning, and sectoral incentive mechanisms.
  • For finance: Green bonds, sustainable finance, blended finance mechanisms, and access to international climate funds are no longer discretionary tools. They are the essential infrastructure of transformation. Financial institutions must deepen these instruments and make them accessible to SMEs and sectors in transition.
